Aggressor Fleet
On any liveaboard, there are two main things that I look for. A good area for taking care of my video equipment and acceptable "living" arrangements. In both cases, the Aggressor definitely excels. Camera tables, like this one on the Fiji Aggressor make it a lot easier to deal with the large format housings that I have come to accept as standard travel equipment. Issues that arise during a week long trip will only be compounded if the boats do not provide an area for video/camera gear. In regard to living
arrangements, the Aggressor Fleet has definitely raised the bar. Not only does Aggressor provide world-class diving but the luxury accommodations are sensational. Enjoy your surface intervals while relaxing in style.
The Aggressor Fleet also has several trips a year with some very well-known dive/video industry professionals. At the time of this feature there are several trips listed with Bob Talbot and Stan Waterman. Two individuals that are sure to make a great trip even more memorable. You can see the details of these Celebrity Cruises here.

Maldives
The Maldives Islands lie Southwest of India. Scattered across the equator in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the gem-like islands of the Maldives depict the rare vision of a tropical paradise. Palm fringed islands with sparkling white beaches, turquoise lagoons, clear warm waters and coral reefs teeming with abundant varieties of marine flora and fauna, fascinates visitors as it has for thousands of years.
There are three distinctly different types of diving: inside the atolls, outside the atolls and inside the channels or passes, which is where the currents are strongest and you'll find the greatest congregation of fish life. Most intriguing are the cleaning stations, found around every corner and under every ledge. Groupers, Snappers, Surgeonfish, Eels, Parrotfish, even Giant Napoleon Wrasse park casually in corners, oblivious to all, (including cameras) while armies of wrasse, shrimp and other assorted cleaners pick at debris in their open gills and cavernous mouths.
The big attraction, however, are the schools of fish that patrol the reefs in colorful packs: Humpback and Black and White Snappers, Trevally Jacks, Barracuda, Batfish, Unicornfish, Yellowback Fusiliers and Harlequin Sweetlips almost comical in design. The reef's larger inhabitants, including sharks, rays and occasionally even Whale Sharks, are often seen cruising in the blue.
Palau
Palau's mushroom-shaped rock islands offer a variety of exciting dives: WWII wrecks, shark-infested channels, blue holes, a freshwater lake with stingless jellyfish and even a few caves. There are also sheer walls covered in lush soft corals and huge anemones. Beginner divers may find Palau's strong currents challenging. All dives are made from the 18-passenger dive skiff, which is lowered into the water by a hydraulic cradle. Seven-day charters are Sunday to Sunday with five days and one-half days of diving. Diving begins Monday and ends Saturday morning. Transfers from the Palau airport are provided on the day of arrival and departure.

The luxurious Turks and Caicos Aggressor II offers guests a week of thrilling wall diving along the coasts of Providenciales, West Caicos and French Caye. The sheer walls of Providenciales begin at 40 feet, plunging into the deep blue abyss and include crevasses and ledges that are decorated with huge orange Elephant Ear sponges, Gorgonians and Crimson Rope Sponges. The tinerary April through December departs from Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands.
The itinerary January-April operates out of Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos Islands (one charter) and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for the Silver Bank whale charters. Turks & Caicos Aggressor II for Whale Watching in the Dominican Republic.
Utila, Honduras
The Utila Aggressor offers seven-day vacations departing from Utila, Honduras. Guests fly into San Pedro Sula then board a charter flight for a scenic 30 minute flight to Utila.
Divers aboard the 14-passenger Utila Aggressor will explore the sheer walls and wrecks surrounding Utila as well as offshore sea mounts.
