Rick Allen Rick Allen

As a video producer, director and HD videographer Rick's work has appeared on ABC, A&E, BBC, CBS, Discovery, TLC, National Geographic, 48 Hours, ESPN, Lifetime, Turner and more. Rick has followed SWAT teams through the door on drug busts, traveled from Cuba to Kazakhstan with the 82nd Airborne, weathered live broadcasts during hurricanes (during my news days) and gone nose to nose with 14 foot Great White sharks during underwater expeditions.


Jon Shaw Jon Shaw
In 2006 Jon Shaw founded ginclearfilm to meet the nees of a growing number of small business who want high quality video footage for promotional purposes and for networks requiring stock footage.

Jon started diving at age 13 and attended commercial dive school in Plymouth UK at age 18.

Jon's latest accomplishments include the competion of a new dvd which showcases the stunning underwater world off the beautiful city of Sydney Australia. A sequence from this dvd was also selected to be part of the latest Sensational Seas DVD.


Joe Romeiro Joe Romeiro
Joe Romeiro burst into the world of underwater videography with a huge splash in 2009 with "Death of a Deity," a short film about shark conservation, which won multiple awards throughout the year. Joe is quickly becoming a well-known figure within the community and is one of those people everyone should keep an eye on. He has recently released some great videos and is sure to have some phenomenal material in the future. Joe currently lives in Rhode Island but travels quite frequently to do what he loves most: shooting underwater video of sharks.


Becky Kagan Becky Kagan
Becky has always been attracted to water, but her curiosity about what lay beneath the waves really became an obsession from a young age. She always knew documenting the underwater world is what she wanted to do. Becky is a professional underwater videographer. As an award winning Photojournalist she has worked for major news networks including CBS and Fox News, shooting video in all types of situations from major hurricanes to the Presidential Election. She has over 15 years of dive experience logging thousands of hours underwater in various conditions and extreme environments.


Mark Thorpe Mark Thorpe
Mark is a well-known underwater videographer and is currently based out of Indonesia. Living in a location like Indonesia, Mark has almost daily access to world-class diving that a lot of people only see once or twice in their lifetime.

Mark is of British descent and spent 12 years in the military prior to taking up photography. Moving on to videography, Mark has quickly made a name for himself as one of the top underwater shooters. Mark is currently shooting with a Red One Cinema Camera and has written several in depth reviews of equipment he as used, including the Red One reviews here on Underwater Videography.com.


David Ulloa David Ulloa
David is a highly respected professional underwater videography based out of Florida’s cave country and is very well known within the world of underwater videographers for his technical diving ability and his past and present work on network television.
David has several passion’s with the underwater world, but it’s his passion with sharks that is the most contagious. It only take a couple of minutes of conversation to discover that he's not using shark conservation as a "buzz word", but rather as a way of life and it’s something that he champions in all regards. Moreover, working as a professional explorer and underwater videographer, David has had the unique opportunity to travel to some very exotic locations and experience what is really going on in the world when it comes to shark awareness, conservation and education.
Currently, David is working with major television networks and production companies to develop both scripted and documentary television series. Look for them in 2010.
These are just a few of reasons why we decided to launch our new "Featured Videographer of the Month" with David Ulloa.
